With the borders on...

Instead of adding one large border, I finally decided to add a small one and a large one.

This quilt is for my daughter and her bedroom has one wall painted in dark purple and the other walls in natural linen. The quilt is really nice in her bedroom and blends perfectly well with this mauvish floral border.

Because it was really difficult to take photos of the entire quilt in it, I went outside for the photo shoot and tried to do my best as it was quite windy this afternoon!!!

Details...

In the wind...

and finally, against the light....

I will start quilting it very soon...

Until later,

  1. I love it, David and especially the last picture where it looks a bit like a church window with the light shining through from behind. Go and get an extraordinarily big hug and kiss from your daughter.
