Instead of adding one large border, I finally decided to add a small one and a large one.
This quilt is for my daughter and her bedroom has one wall painted in dark purple and the other walls in natural linen. The quilt is really nice in her bedroom and blends perfectly well with this mauvish floral border.
Because it was really difficult to take photos of the entire quilt in it, I went outside for the photo shoot and tried to do my best as it was quite windy this afternoon!!!

C est sans doute la dernière photo que je préfère et qui doit être la plus ressemblante au rendu des couleurs dans la chambre de votre fille..les couleurs "aubergine" doivent se refléter dans les gris.. Bravo il est superbe et il le sera en core bien plus après le quilting..bon courage mais je trouve que c est le moment le plus agréable lorsque l'on voit les reliefs se dessiner.

Il est superbe ! La lumiere de la dernière photo le transforme en vitrail. Ce choix de bandes lui donne de la sobriete et de l'élégance. Quel bel ouvrage... il merite un beau quilting ;)
