Thistlewood is finished !

I have loved every single step of the stitching and finishing part of this project!

But words are sometimes useless... let the photos speak for themselves...

This is a Jackie Du Plessis's creation and it was an online class with Shining Needle Society.

I LOVE it! And you ?

Until later,

    1. Merci, moi je ne suis qu'un artisan... C'est les créateurs qu'il faut admirer pour inventer de si beaux objets et préparer des explications très claires pour nous permettre de les réaliser à notre tour.

  10. Congratulations, David, it looks absolutely beautiful. You have done a wonderful finishing job (I know how long it takes!) What's next, I wonder? Incidentally I can't go to Nantes this year as I have two classes in London with Sherri Jones which clash, unfortunately.

  11. Congrats on a beautiful piece. I wished now that I had taken this class, but at the time it just was not feasable. Are you taking the next class Jackie is offering? LaVieEnRose? I did sign up for this one. Take care and hope to see more beautiful finishes.

  19. I saw this gorgeous finish right after you posted, then I couldn't leave my comment as I was almost speachless! Congratulations! It looks beyond my imagination. Too pretty! You know what? As I haven't signed up for any of Merry Cox's class at LNS for a few years as I never finish these kind of fine accessories any more, but after seeing yours, I tried to sign up one of her classes in November, but it's already full! Ughhhhhhhh Well, we will see if there is any cancellation as I'm on the wait list now... Sigh... Thanks for sharing such beauty!
