I have loved every single step of the stitching and finishing part of this project!
But words are sometimes useless... let the photos speak for themselves...
This is a Jackie Du Plessis's creation and it was an online class with Shining Needle Society.
I LOVE it! And you ?
Until later,
Stunning David, congratulations. It's a truly gorgeous piece and you have done a brilliant finishing job on that!!

DeleteYour stitching and finishing are gorgeous. Yes, I Love Thistlewood.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Linda. Good to "see" you here :-)

ReplyDeleteThank you Laurie. I really love these stitched pieces.
DeleteCongratulations, David, it looks absolutely beautiful. You have done a wonderful finishing job (I know how long it takes!) What's next, I wonder? Incidentally I can't go to Nantes this year as I have two classes in London with Sherri Jones which clash, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue... Hope to go back to London for another class sooner or later. Say "Hi" for me to Susan.
DeleteToo bad I won't see you in Nantes but I'll take pictures and will post them on the blog and I am sure you will have a wonderful time with Sherry ;-). It's a beautiful project.
Congrats on a beautiful piece. I wished now that I had taken this class, but at the time it just was not feasable. Are you taking the next class Jackie is offering? LaVieEnRose? I did sign up for this one. Take care and hope to see more beautiful finishes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not taking the next class but will take future classes for sure ;-)

Merci ;-)
DeleteThank you very much Sue.

It's gorgeous, congratulations
ReplyDeleteI saw this gorgeous finish right after you posted, then I couldn't leave my comment as I was almost speachless! Congratulations! It looks beyond my imagination. Too pretty! You know what? As I haven't signed up for any of Merry Cox's class at LNS for a few years as I never finish these kind of fine accessories any more, but after seeing yours, I tried to sign up one of her classes in November, but it's already full! Ughhhhhhhh Well, we will see if there is any cancellation as I'm on the wait list now... Sigh... Thanks for sharing such beauty!
ReplyDeleteAmazing...wonderful...lovely...all these and more come to mind :o)
Amicalement,
Isa
