in need of some stitching time...

After several quilt blocks, I was in need of some stitching time. This project is last year Stitch Me CLub by l'Atelier Perdu .

I started this project a while ago and had left part 2 unfinished when I picked up some quilting.... but that was before my New Year's resolution ;-) One project or part of a project at a time. So it was time to finish this part.

I chose the recommended threads and even gave a try to Natalie's suggestion : stitching it on 40-count linen in tent stitch. This is really tiny but sooooo nice. Not very creative you might say but I trust Natalie entirely and like her color palette very much. Moreover I really love miniature samplers.

Next time I'll work on this project, I'll do part 3 entirely and that means that Campagne Française part 2 and Reiko Kato's block 2 will be finished.

Until later,

    1. Oui Pati, sur un fil de trame au petit point (ou demi-point de croix), je ne suis pas sûr du terme exact...

  4. I've always found the smaller the stitch, the more a stitchery rewards you. Yours is looking wonderful.

  7. Oh David, that's a very nice sampler you've been stitching! I would like to stitch this sampler for myself on Italian churchlinen (19 threads/cm, one over one) but when I tried to order the chart from L'Atelier perdu I found out that it's no longer available, sigh :-(
I live in the Netherlands and my French is not good enough to write them a letter to ask them if there are other ways to buy the chart. Do you have a suggestion?

  8. No, Maria, I don't have a solution. These clubs are only available for a certain period of time. But the good news is that there will be another Stitch Me Club ;-)
