I have finished part 1 of this 6-month BOM by Yoko Saito and published in the Quiltmania issues in 2012.
The bird is in the tree.
Doors ready to be open for friends.
The street of houses where a dog wants to play with the bird on the tree branch.
This is the finished block of this first part of the BOM.
As always it was a real pleasure to stitch, appliqué, reverse-appliqué and embroider.
Until later,

ReplyDeleteThis is perfect!!! David, I am really struggling with little corners (e.g. leaves or sharp corners of the tree brunches) - how do you make them so neat?
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm off to work soon but I will explain it as soon as I can. Send me your email via my mail so I can reply in detail and I'll show you pictures on how to do it.
DeleteDone! Thank you so much :-)
ReplyDeleteBlock 1 is looking wonderful. I have a friend getting me some Taupes in Nantes and then I might get started.
bonne continuation et bon WE
