That is the reason why I keep making them.
For this one, I decided to choose my own colors and instead of stitching the center rectangle on the front, I chose to sew a wooden button and made four assorted buttons with fabric.
And guess what ?
I am, once again, very happy with how it looks and this one will be a one-of-a-kind thanks to the few adaptions.
Now, I will work on different quilting projects and start the beautiful Tribute To Summer Sampler by Stacy Nash that I will stitch with silks. It is going to be a framed project.
Once again, I want to thank you all for your comments. You do keep me motivated ;-)
I also want to welcome all the new followers. Thank you for reading my blog and stopping by from time to time.
When starting this blog, I would never have imagined that this blog would have linked me to so many passionate people and I am truly happy to share my passion with you.

The back.
The back.
And finally, to give it a French touch, I have put the lovely Eiffel Tower scissors I had received as a present. I really love them :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful work you do! I have had such a pleasant time over the last weekend reading many of your posts and seeing your beautiful creations-very inspirational!
ReplyDeleteI was reading an email from quiltmania about a stitching show in Nantes and I think you might have mentioned it in your blog. Do you mind me asking how far the show is from the airport and do you know if it is Kathi Campbell from 'Heart to Hand' USA that will be there? Is it a big show?
Thanks,
Sharon
