BOM Yoko Saito. Part 1

I have finished part 1 of this 6-month BOM by Yoko Saito and published in the Quiltmania issues in 2012.

The bird is in the tree.

Doors ready to be open for friends.

The street of houses where a dog  wants to play with the bird on the tree branch.

This is the finished block of this first part of the BOM.

As always it was a real pleasure to stitch, appliqué, reverse-appliqué and embroider.

Until later,

  4. This is perfect!!! David, I am really struggling with little corners (e.g. leaves or sharp corners of the tree brunches) - how do you make them so neat?

    bonne continuation et bon WE

  11. Simply Charming! You have done a beautiful job on this block. I am working on this BOM also, but you have more accomplished than I have. Can't wait to see what blocks 3 - 6 are going to be. I am sure they all have houses on them though, don't you?

    Amicalement.
